“Water, water everywhere”, Country Life

Next year, thirsty vistors to London’s eight Royal Parks will be able to get their refreshement from stylish new water fountains, the winners of a competition launched by the Royal Parks Foundation and the Tiffany & Co Foundation. The standard of the 150 submitted designs from 26 countries wa so strong that the judging panel was unable to choose an ultimate winner, so the designs by Ben Addy of Moxon Architects (Trumpet) and Robin Monotti Architects with Mark Titman (Watering Holes) will both be used… The mayor of London, Boris Johnson, adds: ‘As we look forward to the olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, I am sure Londoners and visitors alike will enjoy sampling our finest water from one of the newly installed fountains.
