“Fountains take on new look”, The Telegraph

The judging Panel chose…Robin Monotti Architects with Mark Titman for the quirky Watering Holes. They were chosen out of 159 entries from 26 countries and were judged primarily on aesthetics and ability to withstand life on the front line of a public park.

The Watering Holes design features three water spouts set at different heights, the highest for adults, the middle hole for adults and wheelcair users, and the lowest for pets. The monolithic design is made from Cornish granite, a nod to the idea of standing stones found in the ancient British landscape.
